Why "True Confidence" Matters In 2024 💖

The way things are flowing and dancing right now, you can feel the excitement in the atmosphere. 🌟🎉

Since everyone loves the fresh start of a new year, you expect to hear new goals and resolutions. 🗓️📝

I can't speak for everyone, but many are revisiting the goals they set last year and simply updating 2023 to 2024. 😄🔄

Isn't that what the new year is for? LOL

Anyways, I bring this up because many of the 2024 goals we've been seeing shared on social media are somewhat concerning. 😬📢

They're concerning because they're mostly focused on a physical transformation.

We've seen this mistake happen many times over the years. This is why 95% of diets fail and also why so many people yo-yo with their weight every year. 🚫🍔

This is concerning because many individuals are led to believe that altering their appearance will grant them the confidence they've been seeking. 💁‍♀️💃

They've been told they'll need this type of confidence to express themselves freely without restrictions. 🗣️🆓

Now, there's nothing wrong with focusing on your physical transformation in 2024 since it works for a select few.

However, the ones who solely focus on physical transformations are typically models or influencers. 💃📸

And for most of us, we're not trying to go viral for our curves or abs.

We're just trying to be the best versions of ourselves or to be the example for our kids. 🌟👨‍👩‍👦

And when you really think about it, basing our confidence in how we look is like trying to build a house on thin ice. 🏠❄️

It's incredibly fragile since our bodies undergo changes throughout the day, week, or month. 📉📈

Because how many times have we worn an outfit that looked fantastic on us...

But after one meal, we balloon up like a blimp? 🎈🍔

And if your confidence hinges on how you look, one glance in the mirror can send you into a downward spiral. 😟🪞

I share this with you because True Confidence, the kind we aspire to possess, doesn't stem from the image in the mirror. 🚫🪞

Having True Confidence in yourself comes from liking who you are, inside and out. 💗🙌

It's not just about how you look but also about loving and accepting every part of you - even your mistakes and weaknesses.

True Confidence comes from being okay with who you are  no matter what anyone else thinks or says.

It's not about conforming to someone else's notion of beauty but about believing in your own unique qualities and capabilities. 🌟✨

When you have True Confidence, you know you're strong and capable. 🏋️‍♀️

You don't worry about being perfect or making mistakes. 🙈👌

You understand that every part of you - even the aspects you may not adore - contribute to your uniqueness and set you apart from everyone else.

So let your confidence shine by loving the person you are beneath the surface, a person full of strength and courage. 🌟❤️

Your worth can't be measured by what's seen in a mirror.

You are so much more than that.

Always here for you,

Trulean
