Your Deserve It: Guilt-Free Self-Care
Sacrificing your needs for someone's needs is noble - up to a point.
Because when your selfless sacrifice becomes a daily thing, that's when things become dodgy.
And this is where the seeds of resentment, frustration, and anger start growing.
I'm telling you this because a lot of people today are becoming burnt out.
And they're not actually burnt out on work, life, or the gym.
What's causing them to feel burnt out is that they're sacrificing your needs for someone.
Now one of the quickest ways to stop feeling like this is to put your needs first before taking care of someone else's needs.
I know this may be harder said than done since many of us had to play the caregiver role in our childhood to survive or receive love.
(This is more common than you think.)
And for those who identify as caregivers or nurturers, it can be hard to put your needs first because you're going against everything you've known.
